Complementing Las Vegas, Macau and Wuhan, Al Habtoor Water Theater will be the fourth of its type globally. As the first permanent water production in Dubai, it is planned for launch in 2016 on Habtoor Island.
The purpose-built circular venue, designed by Paris-based Jean Rabasse, will contain 1,314 seats and be tall enough for performers to dive more than 30 meters into a 5.5-meter-deep pool. The production itself will be a complex mixture of water elements, sound and #lights. It consists of 4 #Basements, Ground Floor, #Mezzanine and 6 #Podiums
Using the latest technologies and processes within the Building Information #Modeling, BIM-ME is the only #BIM Consultant on this water theater, dealing directly with the client ( Al Habtoor Group ). In addition, we are also providing all the #MEP Shop drawings, #Composite Drawings and #Asbuilt drawings for the main contractor #Commodore .
